Chambers of Commerce

Your local Chamber provides business support and advice to its members on a wide range of issues. They provide businesses with many opportunities to promote their business through networking events, seminars, expos etc. Chambers of Commerce also organise training courses and workshops on a range of issues affecting your business.  A number of Ireland’s Chambers are also members of the Enterprise Europe Network and can provide your business with invaluable support when doing business in overseas markets.

City & County Enterprise Boards

The City & County Enterprise Boards (CEBs) provide business support to new and existing enterprises at a local level. They are uniquely positioned to understand local needs and know the background and track record of those applying for support and assistance.

Enterprise Europe Network

The Enterprise Europe Network is comprised of nearly 600 business support organisations located throughout 50 countries. In Ireland the network members include 5 Chambers of Commerce and Enterprise Ireland. They work in partnership to provide Irish small and medium sized enterprises with information, support and advice on doing business throughout the 50 countries in the network.

Údarás na Gaeltachta

Údarás na Gaeltachta assists businesses in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) areas. General financial assistance includes employment grants, capital grants on new equipment and buildings, training grants. Levels of financial assistance are negotiable, depending on location, skill levels and employment potential.
