2013 – A Year Of Campaigns And Innovation

The Year’s Not Finished Yet.

We’re with you, on that point. Actually, please vote for IDK’s video clip, Ability Personified in “Better Together“? That way, we might get €1k extra to start 2014 with.

Bilateral Ear-Implant Campaign: Eleven months ago, the Happy New Ear campaign for bilateral ear-implants began when IDK noted parents’ concerns about service delays, before letter-writing to Dr James Reilly and the campaign’s real escalation.Outcome: As Dr Reilly finalises his 2014 health service plan, IDK has featured in theMedical Independent, the Sunday Independent and the Irish Times. In 2013, we alsoretained the threatened BSc. course in Audiology at Athlone Institute of Techology.

Talking point: we welcome all contact to – and if you’d like to track IDK’s news, sign up for our monthly ezine, or follow our Facebook or Twitter pages.
